Meet Sloane:

Ever since the fuller lips trend started, I’ve been insecure about the thinness of mine. I knew that lip injections were common, but I was hesitant to try them, especially at my age.  After seeing the results in other patients and talking to Dr. Karaca, I decided to give it a try. We decided that Juvederm® would be best based on the look that I was trying to achieve. I was definitely nervous but it was quick, easy, I barely felt a thing, and I’m feeling more confident already! I’ll definitely be back in six months so I can maintain my new look!

"I've always been insecure about my lips, so Dr. Karaca recommended lip injections to fix that. I was nervous about using Juvederm, but it was so easy and looks really good. I'm really excited about it, it's already awesome!" - SLOANE

About The Procedure

Lip injections are simple treatments where a small amount of filler (i.e.  Juvederm®Belotero® or fat) is administered directly into the lip. The type of filler depends on your existing lips and the results you are trying to achieve.  The procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes with minimal recovery time necessary, making it easy to schedule throughout the week.  After injections, the fillers typically last six to nine months but results may vary based on patient, type of treatment, and exact placement.  Depending on the type of filler, maintenance injections may be needed to maintain results.
The differences between lip filling options are: how long the effects last and how the fillers feel. A patient may choose to use hyaluronic acid help smooth and improve the hydration of lips. Other fillers are more effective at adding volume, correcting asymmetry, or contouring lips. Each lip filler option has its own consistency, durability, and cost, but are all safe.

Dermal fillers can add fullness, balance, and volume to your lips through a very simple procedure. These fillers can add a softer look to your appearance with minimal recovery time necessary. To maximize comfort during the procedure, numbing creams and nerve blockers can be administered prior to injection. Ultra-fine needles are used to inject fillers that beautifully enhance your lips and create long-lasting results.
